The Senior Community & Partnership Specialist oversees and orchestrates successful community & partnership planning and execution to support Dulwich business priorities and connection to overall Group Strategic Engagement and Integrated Marketing programmes.

 

·         Direct report to Head of Content Marketing and Engagement, work closely with cross-functional teams in SEIC to strategise, manage and grow (Dulwich College International) DCI community engagement and partnership enablement, including but not limited to professional institutions, charities, marketing and/or media partners

·         Working closely with Event & Engagement Senior Manager, in partnership with Digital, Comms and other relevant teams, to spearhead DCI event transformation agenda from in-person events to digital events. Advocate for the contribution that community & partnership programmes can make to the Group’s business goals; advises the school marketing teams and other internal marketing partners on the inclusion of community & partnership programmes as part of the marketing mix, driving alignment across the entire DCI network in respect to this discipline.

·         Support the research, identification, prioritisation, and execution of new community and partnership engagement opportunities to help DCI drive group brand awareness, new customers, and other business objectives

·         In partnership with Event & Engagement Senior Manager, plan and execute brand partnership events targeting both internal and external stakeholders - own the planning process from managing deadlines to multiple teams or suppliers with expert accuracy, to developing collaterals and on-the-ground event management

·         Drive adoption and usage of the planning Group Partnership & Pathways Framework, leveraging Group event investments and ensure all local school events align to the DCI branding, content, and timing standards which enable more seamless connection of local events to Group community & partnership programmes.

·         Support school AMC teams to co-create local event programs to drive consistency, efficiency, and scale as necessary.

·         Build and maintain a professional partnership network for DCI

·         Leverage data to gain insights to maximise business impact of community and partnership events and drive ongoing portfolio and program optimisation.

·         Drive adoption of the community and partnership event measurement/evaluation approach to enable more consistent event insights and optimisation.

·         Working closely with Content Marketing teams to ensure the right approach for event content, speakers, and flow so that events are delivered on message with the right themes aligned to content rhythm in any format, whether physical or digital.

Manages event vendor resources to execute and deliver on the Community & Partnership event strategy.

 Requirement:

·         3+ years of related event, partnership community engagement marketing experience, including experience of leading and delivering large events both physical and digital. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

·         Deep knowledge of the end-to-end customer journey aligned to business plans to put in place the right events strategy and execution plan.

·         Business/marketing analytics & digital marketing and social amplification desired. Understanding of marketing automation concepts and software tools to capture contacts/leads and measure commercial impact of investments is a plus

·         Someone that has been doing this in China across all event tiers and has strong examples that they can give including but not limited to commercial impact.

·         Strong knowledge and understanding of the China landscape, key business issues driving our audiences.

·         Expertise leading internal events including all employee offsites, town halls, and video streamed webinars

·         Experience in coordinating and managing agencies and virtual teams whether that is outsourced event logistics and production vendors, content, and experience design agencies, to ensure they execute the events that surprise and delight customers.

·         Managing programs end-to-end aligned to clear and specific outcomes. Working across multiple stakeholders such as marketing, digital and social, data and analytics, partners, and PR. Real examples of how you have done this in an organisation.

·         Understand industry best practice for engaging audiences digitally and be willing to try new, creative approaches and learn how to use new digital platforms. Have an eye for detail as we think about content translates for our audiences in our new world of digital events.

·         Strong writing and communication skills

·         Strong attention to details

·         Ability to juggle with multiple tasks at the same time

·         Creative problem solver and self-starter with a good sense of humour

·         Good team player and working ethic

·         Solid communication skills-dealing with different cultures

·         Experience in Chinese and international business environment is an advantage

-         Able to travel, potentially some weekends
