Source tells MadisonBoom that, Tony Chen (陈建豪) has resigned from GroupM as Chief Digital Officer, last Friday.
He was just promoted the the role from GroupM Interaction China president in this May.
Alongside, GroupM's Future media trading president Sara Si had also resigned as MadisonBoom reported last Friday.
One industry insider comments that, "..different management would prefer to mold the company into the shape they prefer. GroupM is on a new chapter. It is a different GroupM."
While seeking his replacement, GroupM China CEO Patrick Xu and Michael Song ( GM of BD of GroupM Interaction), Mickey Zhang ( head of search & eCommerce), Craig Zhang (MD of mJoule) will take over Chen's duties and responsibilities.
