SHANGHAI - Mindshare(传立媒体) today unveils the new team structure for its Invention practice in China. Invention started at the Mindshare global headquarters in London in 2008, focusing on nontraditional activation through branded content, sponsorship, experiential and social media. Since its inception, this specialist division has produced award winning client campaigns across the world. The team in China has been tasked to replicate the success formula by bringing original thinking and innovative thought process to all client work in China. It will be led out of its headquarters in Shanghai by Chungaiz Khan Mumtaz, Head of Invention, Mindshare China and supported by newly appointed Invention Directors, Ken Cheung(张志伟) and Bolin Wang(王柏麟). “The team dynamics are great and complementary. Chungaiz is a global talent having run Nike,Pepsi and The Sun media strategy in the UK whilst Bolin is well versed in homegrown businesses. Ken brings with him extensive digital experience in both UK and China. I look forward to seeing even more innovative work from the team moving forward.” Said Karl Cluck, Mindshare China. Originally from Mindshare’s UK office in London, Chungaiz moved to head up Invention in China in July 2011. Bolin Wong and Ken Cheung join the team this month. Bolin was previously Head of Digital & Social Media at Nurun China and brings with him more than ten years of agency experience. Ken joins the team from Profero, where he was Head of Performance at the Shanghai office. “Invention is about challenging people to think differently, to keep pushing Mindshare to produce great work – it’s almost playing the devils’ advocate, which is great: After all, they say the devil has the best ideas!
