Shanghai- As sources confirmed that, Chien Hwang(黄建裕) will depart from TBWA\Shanghai as Executive Creative Director in this July, and will return New York.Another source said, His departure is most for family reasons, follow his around 5 years stints in TBWA China operations. In mid-2006, Hwang originally joined in TBWA\Beijing to replace then-ECD Derrick Ho to oversee the office's creative output for China Unicom, Apple, Michelin, LG and others. He was relocated to TBWA\Shanghai as ECD to replace Eddie Wong, in June 2010. Chien started his career at BBDO New York in 1997, and serves Pepsi, Visa and FedEx. In 2003, he joined Y&R New York to be VP-Creative Director. In this March, TBWA Grater China has appointed Edmund Choe as Joint- President and Chief Creative Officer. Till now, it's still unclear whether TBWA seeks a replacement for Chien.
