Shanghai-Blows to McCann China continues, two senior executives Carol Lam( 林晓琪) and Canon Wu (吴佳蓉) both announced to depart from the agency. Carol Lam had joined in McCann Shanghai as Managing Director and CCO from 2010, as well as Canon Wu had worked at McCann family for six years more ( initially Can Create, then Luxury Box and eventually Greater China CCO at Momentum). These departures following Vincent Pong (former ECD at McCann Shanghai), Maurice Fang ( SCD at McCann Shanghai), Ivy Ho( SBD at McCann Shanghai), Jason Chau (MRM GC MD), Pratik Thakar(former Chief Strategist & Innovation Catalyst), TH Peng (former GC CEO) . Clearly, the biggest challenge to McCann Worldgroup newly chief Jesse Lin is- how to retain or resurface his management team. This June 15th, McCann had appointed Ellen Hou to take the role of chief strategic architect culture officer, filled with the vacancy left by Pratik Thakar.
