Y&R China Invests in Digital Expertise with Two Key Hires

Shanghai-  Y&R China(扬罗必凯) has made significant investment in its digital capabilities with the appointment of Amy Luca(pictured) as Business Director and Spens Liu(刘峰) as Digital Creative Director. Luca has over 10 years experience helping brands develop effective communication and engagement via digital and traditional mediums. She joins Y&R China from AGENDA Shanghai where she used her considerable digital experience and passion for brand building to craft holistic integrated digital programs for Wrigley, Gap, Pepsi, Starbucks and J&J.  Prior to joining the AGENDA team she was an Account Director for Pepsi at TBWA\Chiat\Day in Los Angeles and helped to develop and launch one of the most successful social media campaigns in Pepsi history, The Pepsi Refresh Project. Liu has eight years’ interactive creative experience gained while working for FCBI, Ogilvy and Saatchi & Saatchi.  He has worked on campaigns for global brands including Motorola, HP, Lexus, VW, IKEA, Starbucks and Sony Ericsson as well as major China brands including  RenRen and Huiyuan.  He has won awards at New York Festivals, IDA, Click Awards and China EFFIEs.    Commenting on the appointments, Charles Sampson, CEO, Y&R China said, ‘I am thrilled that Amy is joining Y&R.  We have worked with Amy for the past year through AGENDA and she is a tremendous talent.  I’ve worked with Spens in the past and he is one of China’s new breed of digital creative talent.”
